Customer is responsible for all freight charges both ways. We will not receive any parcel freight collect. All freight sent F.O.B. will have freight charges assessed to the invoice unless customer provides their UPS shipper account number. Any heavyweight shipment will be sent freight collect via a LTL. carrier.

All shipments will include insurance fees billed in increments to the next one hundred dollars. Estimated insurance costs will be based on our assessment of replacement cost value. We will not waive any insurance fee or insure for less than our recommended values. Additional insurance can be purchased upon customer request. All insurance settlements must compensate Advanced Cycle Machining in full.

All packages shipped to us are required to include a note detailing the services you are requesting we perform. As we talk to many people every day, please do not ask us to remember each and every phone conversation. Any parcel received without a detailed work description and proper return and billing information will be put aside until you contact us.

Be sure to package items carefully. Our years of experience have shown that wadded newspaper generally works best. It is best to allow two inched of cushion around each item and, if possible, box or wrap each item separately, then place these boxes into a larger box. Please refrain from simply tossing all components into packing peanuts and hoping for the best. Shipping companies will not cover damage claims due to insufficient packaging.

Please allow sufficient time for your package to arrive. Most parcel delivery services offer barcode tracking and can be traced on-line. While we strive for quick turnaround times, please keep in mind much of our workload is seasonal. All work is performed in the order in which it is received. We recognize that from time to time emergencies will arise and in those situations we do offer a rush service. To qualify for our rush service, shipments must be sent via air delivery and a 25% surcharge will be applied to alt charges. Upon completion, rush service shipments will be returned via air delivery. The customer will assume all additional charges. All rush service will be performed within 48 business hours provided prior notice has been given. There are no exceptions to our rush service charges.

Calls to check on progress will not speed up the delivery time. We strive to provide quality service and will not sacrifice the integrity of our work to expedite shipment. Please plan for the season. We also discourage any calls from someone not representing the original shipper.
